African Fashion Week kicked off the fashion season for Calgary, Alberta at the start of November, 2019.
The show brought together designers and performers from around the world, with a diverse set of photographers and creatives to match. Each collection was vibrant, rhythmic, and patterned. No details were overlooked as the show took off. Rooting deeply in culture, the show hosted a buffet style meal during intersession with authentic cuisine found in different African regions.
